About Domain Building Concepts

Domain Building Concepts LLC was formed in January of 2007 by Mike Harber and Jim Lindler. Mike and Jim have over 50 years of experience in commercial and residential fire, smoke, flood, insurance restoration, general contracting, and remodeling. They are a Certified, Licensed and Insured member of the Greater Columbus Better Business Bureau and the National Association of Remodeler’s, Inc. (NARI).

Domain Building Concepts LLC proudly provides their services to residential and commercial customers in Franklin, Fairfield, Delaware, Licking, Union, Madison Pickaway and their contiguous counties.

Mike Harber

Mike Harber has an extensive background in construction estimating, sales and production management dating back to 1986. He started his career in the field working as a carpenter, and was soon promoted to Superintendent   managing large scale projects such as the United Way Building Fire in North Columbus and the Adria Labs restoration in Dublin, Ohio, to name but a few.

In 2001, Mike became a partner in 3-D Building Systems. Among his many duties were managing the estimating and sales divisions. After helping 3-D expand with branches throughout several states, he decided to form his own company in order to spend more time with his family, friends, and golf game. With Domain Building Concepts LLC, Mike has not only been able to achieve the former, he has also, with his partner, been able to manage a growing business quite successfully. And he has continued to help people and companies restore their structures, their lives and their businesses.

Jim Lindler

In 1971 Jim graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Industrial Education. After college, Jim gained valuable, hands-on experience building multi-unit dwellings in Northeast Ohio. In 1973 Jim came home to Central Ohio and joined a local general contracting firm where he started work as a “super’s” assistant and was soon promoted to job superintendent. From 1980-1982 he teamed up with a fraternity brother to form Sun Rise Builders. Sun Rise Builders installed finish trim and performed other carpentry duties for M.I. Homes. In 1982 Jim was recruited by a local insurance restoration contractor where he worked as a field and later, senior estimator for the next 21 years. After his time there, Jim joined Mike at 3-D Building Systems/Disaster Kleen Up as a Senior Estimator/Project Manager. With his many years of experience, there is not much about the restoration or construction industries that Jim has not seen or experienced. Yet it is still, after his family, and Muskie fishing on Lake Erie, his main passion.

Rick Haley

Rick joined Domain Building Concepts in February of 2010 as an estimator/sales person. He has since added the title of Marketing Manager to his resume’. His friendly personality and empathetic nature assure that all of Rick’s clients will be treated in the professional, sympathetic manner one can only acquire from years of dealing face to face with the public.
Rick is a distinguished armed services veteran, having spent three years in the United States Army as a combat engineer and an Operations NCO. After proudly serving in the Armed Services, Rick enjoyed a successful sales career and also formed “Tastefully Yours” Catering.

Needless to say, Rick is in charge of all company outings and barbeques.

David Chard

David came on board with Domain Building Concepts in the spring of 2012 as an estimator/sales person.  It was while enrolled at Clemson that David began his twenty year career in the construction industry, beginning at age eighteen.  The past fourteen years have been spent in the Insurance Restoration business where David has excelled in residential, commercial and historical restoration projects of various scope and severity. His easy going demeanor, patience and never exhausted level of energy make David a natural for dealing with the complexities and challenges associated with any restoration project.

David is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys his time on the golf course as well.
